AQUATIC HARVESTER’S

Much of our aquatic vegetation and native plants are needed to maintain the ecosystem and a balanced aquatic environment. However, if you live on a river, lake, or pond in Washington or Idaho, you know what a nuisance some aquatic plant life can be. Bothersome, out of control aquatic vegetation such as milfoil, lily pads, and other noxious weeds, severely and negatively impact enjoyment on the water. Removing this vegetation is time consuming and further takes away time otherwise spent enjoying these outdoors spaces.

Aquatic Harvester’s is your solution. We are an underwater noxious weed removal company. Aquatic Harvester uses Diver Assisted Suction Harvesting (D.A.S.H.) services to extract unwanted plants from riverbeds, lakebeds and ponds.

D.A.S.H. is an alternative to chemicals, used to kill/remove unwanted plants. Divers identify unwanted non-native or invasive plants that need removal and pull them out by their roots. The unwanted plants are then fed into a suction tube that transports the plants from the water bottom to the boating platform and into onion bags located inside a 1/8” steel mesh box plant collection bin. This process mitigates the risk of plant particle spillage back into the waterway. Since unwanted plants are pulled-out by the roots, the results of removal are immediate, long-lasting, and chemical-free.

Aquatic Harvester’s provides two, two-person Boat Teams, each consisting of one operator/deck-hand and one underwater diver for weed removal operations. Removal techniques result in the immediate elimination of unwanted plants.
